"Service to Humanity is Service to God."
-Bahá’í Writings-
The principle of service to humanity is central in the Bahá’í Faith because it expresses the core purpose of human life: to develop spiritual qualities and contribute to the betterment of the world. Bahá’u’lláh taught that true worship of God is shown through service to others, and that our talents, resources, and efforts should be used to uplift society, promote justice, and foster unity.
Service also helps build the oneness of humanity, a key Bahá’í principle, by breaking down barriers of self-interest and creating bonds of love and cooperation. Importantly, it’s not just charity—it’s seen as a path for personal spiritual growth and collective progress.
